On February 2, 2019, AYLUS Pearland collaborated with the Pearland Chinese Association to organize the Second Annual Spring Festival Celebration Gala at Berry Miller Junior High. Approximately 500 people from around the community came to spectate this unforgettable night.
In the morning, volunteers helped with the set up of the stage and decorations. During the celebration, the Pearland branch took part in stage and ticket managing, food service, and guest registration. After the show, volunteers stayed to clean up the stage and audience area.
Overall, this event was phenomenal because many city and state representatives came to support the celebrating of Chinese culture, of which include: Pearland Mayor Tom Reid, Fire Chief Vance Riley, PISD Superintendent Dr. John P.
