On Saturday, January 26th, the Columbus AYLUS Branch performed at the Senior Star Retirement Center for its first performance into 2019. In this performance, there were ten participants. Michelle Lin, Misha, Erica, and Gavin played the violin. Nicole and Joseph played a duet with their violins. Jason played the saxophone, and Stanley, Claire, and Brenna played the piano. The group played in two parts, one set taking place in the assisted living center ranging from 6:00pm-7:00pm, to the memory care center from 7:00pm-7:30pm. It was amazing seeing the joyous, familiar faces of the senior residents of this retirement center after some turbulence due to weather. Many gathered to listen to the performances. A refreshing way to start a new year!
