San Diego Branch Organized 46th Computer for Kids Lab on September 22nd, 2018

On September 22nd, 2018, students from the San Diego Branch of AYLUS organized and participated in the 46th Computer for Kids Lab, repairing and cleaning electronic devices in order to prepare them to send to children of low-income families. This helps the kids achieve academic success through possible access to technology.

The participants did the following:

  • 66 Monitors Tested, Cleaned, and Prepared for Distribution

So far, the San Diego branch students have accomplished the following since the first Computer for Kids Lab of this year:

  • Diagnosed, repaired, tested, or sleeved 4,101 notebooks/netbooks/laptops/tablets/desktops
  • Tested and repaired 296 LCD monitors
  • Diagnosed, tested, wiped, counted, and cloned 3,344 hard drives
  • Wrapped, folded, sorted, and packed 9,709 mice/keyboards/power cords/adaptors/batteries
  • Tested and Bagged 125 Speakers

The following volunteers participated: Victor Ku, Ernest Lin, Wesley Zhang, and Brian Zhu.

The AYLUS San Diego Committee organized the 46th Computer for Kids Lab.
