On June 2nd, 2018 The Enlearning Branch aims to help out new immigrant parents by answering their questions about English. Kevin, Youran, and Paul each take parts of this precious opportunity to assist new immigrant parents. Kevin taught some common grammars which could be used if the parents want to read newspapers. Ordering food often becomes a big headache for new immigrants, so Youran taught many dishes that you can order in a restaurant. Paul decides to help immigrant parents with some daily speakings, he encourages everyone to do an introduction so they can build up more confidence in themselves. Overall, the whole activity was very enjoyable both students and the teachers had a wonderful time together. In addition, we received many positive feedbacks from the parents and we are planning on our next session really soon.
