On May 6, the AYLUS Columbus branch participated in the Dublin Community Service Day, helping to clean up lawns and houses. Volunteers included Jason Guo, Eileen Liang, Aidan Li, Michelle Lin, Alice Nie, and Amy Xuan. They went to two disabled peoples’ homes to help with lawn work. They planted flowers and plants, raked up leaves and pine needles, and washed the deck and windows. Their parents also pitched in, helping with all the work. The kids and parents all worked very diligently. They also went to Bailey Elementary School, where the volunteers helped pick up trash and spread out mulch on the playground. After all their hard work, the volunteers got a well deserved lunch.
