On February 24, 2018, 23 volunteers from the Pearland branch of AYLUS volunteered to help with the TMSCA meet that Pearland Junior High West was hosting.
Over the course of five hours, the high school volunteers worked as proctors for various testing sessions, delivered tests to the graders, and helped grade the various tests ranging from number sense, general math, science, and even calculator based. A few of the younger volunteers also helped sell snacks at the concession stand.
Many of the volunteers were former TMSCA members who all took these tests, and it was a good experience for them to help run the meet this time. These volunteers were able to perfectly perform their tasks, resulting in a perfect meet without any setbacks!
