On December 10, the member of the Chapel Hill Branch presented their Christams special. Many classic Christmas songs were performed such as Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Deck the Halls, and Feliz Navidad along with many other Christmas carols. While some of the members played, the other members would sing along to spread holiday cheer. Peter distributed the song lyrics, Selina played the flute, Christina played the clarinet, Bei Bei played the guitar, Rebecca played the Ruan, Nicholas played the alto saxophone, and Carolyn, Grace, and Mark played the piano. Once all the songs were played through, the elderly enjoyed themselves so much that they requested to replay through all the tunes. At the end of the performance, handmade flowers were distributed as an early Christmas present and everyone left happy and ready to enjoy their winter break. We look forward to future performances and other volunteering activities in 2018.
