The San Diego Branch collected 781 used glasses from the summer vision drive. They worked with the community by knocking doors at the neighborhoods, put collection boxes at different places where people visit frequently. They will send the aforementioned 781 pairs of used glasses to Mexico on Saturday, September 17, 2016. They will continue to collect used eye glasses since the Vision Drive is a year-round, nationwide drive, and will send them to Honduras.
