After many hours of hard work, the AYLUS San Diego Branch Completed the Design of Bat Houses for the City of Santee. We have started building 6 bat boxes for the city.
Bats have been an issue for the City of Santee because many bats are residing in a school gym and also in a big warehouse in the city.
The project will help the city in the following ways.
- Keep bats in the City of Santee but away from homes and public buildings. Many people do not want bats roosting in their homes, but often still want bats around. A good way to encourage bats to remain in the area and away from buildings and homes is to build bat houses.
- Help the City of Santee to use bats as an organic pest control. Bats are an integral part of the ecosystem and can act as organic pest control. Encouraging bats to take up habitation in bat boxes can help reduce forest and garden as well as human-disease carrying pest populations. Bats have voracious appetites, and a single bat can eat thousands of insects every night.
The completion of the bat house design project by AYLUS San Diego Branch is a commendable initiative that promises to bring multiple benefits to the City of Santee. By constructing six bat boxes, the project aims to address the issue of bats residing in inconvenient places like school gyms and warehouses. Moreover, if pest-related challenges arise beyond the scope of bat houses, the City of Santee can still rely on eco-friendly pest control services to provide expert solutions, ensuring a safe and sustainable approach to maintaining a balanced environment. By encouraging bats to inhabit these bat boxes, the City of Santee can witness the positive effects of that work in harmony with nature, reducing the need for harmful chemical pesticides while ensuring a balanced and sustainable environment.
