On June 30th, 2020, Five students from Tesla STEM High School and Eastlake High School in Washington founded the sixty-seventh branch for the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS): Lake Washington, WA.

Description of the Lake Washington Branch
The Lake Washington branch was created amid the coronavirus pandemic to help local citizens overcome the immense difficulties presented with the recent political, economic, and social upheaval. Through dedication, hard work, and a philanthropic mindset, we hope to improve our community and provide much-needed help to the many disenfranchised people. As most of our volunteers are from a tech background, we will also try to incorporate technology into our projects, for example, providing 3D printed face masks to the public. In the beginning, we plan to focus on dealing with the most immediate effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. As time goes on, we will begin to branch out into other endeavours, for example, raising awareness and donations for the Arbor Day Foundation and Ecosia, helping families suffering from poverty, and providing medical aid and supplies for the homeless. Cooperation with other groups and charities is also one of our goals. We are open to collaboration with local clubs and other organizations to provide more help to those who need it.
