On the evening of May 12, Summer Lu, Linzi Yeung, Baiyu Chen, Junlin Yu, Jason Zeng and Ivy Li went to GN Station Library from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. to take part in volunteer tutoring which aims to help younger kids with their schoolwork.
During the one-hour tutoring session, everyone divided up the work and stayed focused. Linzi Yeung patiently supervised the kids and walked them through their daily homework. Summer Lu and Junlin Yu helped the children review textbook knowledge and go over important class materials. Jason Zeng devoted himself to figuring out tough questions and explained confusing
problems to the students in detail.
We cooperated well as a group throughout the activity. Everyone was willing to offer help and support one another, aiming to create a good learning atmosphere and let every kid improve step by step in their studies.
