Throughout early May, the Gladstone Branch wrote cards to Cards for Hospitalized Kids. This organization takes in cards from people around the U.S. and ships them to hospitals all over the country. It is very dedicated to bringing joy to children’s lives, and we thank the organization’s volunteers for still doing their job during these unfortunate and dangerous times.
All of the members in the branch (Travis Xue, Owen Luo, Angela Xu, Jenny Xu, Duc Nguyen, Castor Yuan, Grace Tan, and a new member, Ben Chee) participated in this event. In total, the group made 18 cards. They included thoughtful, comforting messages, and one even had a comic in it! We hope these cards will bring joy to kids’ lives, and we also have a message for everyone here too.
