On October 31, 2026, members of AYLUS Syosset volunteered at the CCE Nassau Farmer’s Market at Parking Field 8 of Eisenhower Park from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Members staffed stands such as the information center and the children’s activities table. Early morning shifts helped set up the market, while afternoon shifts helped take everything down.
Through our efforts, new visitors gained a better understanding of the farmer’s market and got answers to their questions. Members also interacted with visitors of all ages, from children to the elderly. This event strengthened our members’ involvement in the community and gave us valuable experience interacting with a wide variety of people.
