On Sunday, August 9th, from 11:00 am to 1:15 pm, Tylon Zhou and Shuqi Hu from the San Clemente Branch of AYLUS volunteered at Mercy Warehouse. They spent their time helping sort and organize men’s winter clothing.
After arriving, they signed in and began sorting through the men’s winter clothes. Their main objective was separating the clothing according to size and placing each item in the proper section on each rack. Working together, they made the men’s winter clothing area more organized and easier to navigate through.
During the 2.25 hour volunteer shift, they helped prepare the clothing so shoppers could more easily locate items in the sizes they were looking for. Their work supported the warehouse staff and contributed to keeping the warehouse neat and organized.
