On the morning of July 2, volunteers gathered at Independence Park to help prepare the venue for the City of Pearland’s July 4 celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of American Independence.
Volunteers worked together to set up event areas, arrange decoration, and complete various tasks to ensure the celebration would be ready to welcome thousands of community members. Although the summer heat made the work physically demanding, everyone remained enthusiastic and worked with dedication throughout the morning.
The experience was both challenging and rewarding. By contributing their time and effort, the volunteers helped make one of Pearland’s largest community celebrations possible while demonstrating the spirit of service, teamwork, and civic engagement.
