On the 7th of June 2026, AYLUS Lake Washington branch members Elissa Song and Yufei Ye volunteered at the 2026 Issy Kids Triathlon at the Issaquah Community Center. Hosted by the City of Issaquah, the event featured swimming, biking, and running competitions for young kids aged 7-12. Across the four hours spent on volunteering, our members helped out at the biking event, spreading out across the course and cheering on bikers.
Our members utilized their community-building and teamwork skills to help make the triathlon as lively and fun as possible. We collectively acknowledge this event as educational and fun, providing us an unique opportunity to contribute positively to the surrounding youth community.
