On May 8th （59th event), volunteers of ALYUS went to firefighters park to do fun activities with Jack. Jaden, Yucheng, and Amber went to the swings and pushed Jack and some other kids on the newly built net swing. Jack was having a splendid time while laying on the net swinging back and forth. The children yell with excitement as they tell Jaden to push higher. Jack doesn’t seem to want to come off as he is having the time of his life. After a while, Yucheng goes to play table tennis with other children while Jaden and Amber keep an eye on Jack while he lays down and closes his eyes. Then, Jack decides to get off the swing and checks out the Mothers Day party by the playground with Jaden beside him. These activities brighten up Jack’s day as it’s not only a fun time for him, but for all the volunteers. It serves as a social connection and lets Jack have the entertainment he wants.
