During the month of April, AYLUS Roslyn members participated in the CP Nassau clothing drive to help them raise money for their adult programs
The Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County provides quality service to both children and adults with disabilities. Their goal is to be able aid residents in reaching their highest level of independence. The CP Nassau adult programs are not funded enough and through this clothing drive we hope to change that.
On Sunday April 21st, members collectively came together to organize the clothes. We packaged clothes into bags/crates, labeled them, and loaded them into cars that would drop them off at the designated location for collection.
From participating in this event, AYLUS Roslyn members learned to understand and respect the struggles of individuals around us. We hope to spread love and awareness on this topic and in the future, AYLUS Roslyn will strive to help more people in need!
