AYLUS Great Neck Branch Holds AAPI Event at the Main Library 50th (3/28/26)

On Saturday, March 28th, from 3:45 – 5:00 PM, members of the Great Neck AYLUS branch hosted an event for kids at the Great Neck Main Library. The activities that were held at this event included story reading and arts & crafts such as origami, crochet, and building with clay. Stories were read by three volunteers, where Amber read “Easter Bunny Helper”, Goldman read “Goldy Luck and the Three Pandas”, and Rebecca read “Amy Wu and the Lantern Festival”. After reading, Victoria taught kids how to crochet and Amber and Christina taught the kids how to make Easter themed bunnies out of Claydough. Rainie and Nathan taught the kids how to make things out of origami paper and Rebecca and Goldman helped out the kids with crafts. We thank those who attended and look forward to the next event.
