On Friday, 3/20, from 4:30 to 5:30, Yucheng Fu, Cody Ngo and I came to Firefighter Park for our volunteer work. We spent the whole hour accompanying a child, playing different games together in the park. We took turns on the swings, slid down the slide together, and ran around playing tag in the breeze. We laughed and chased each other, and the whole time was relaxed and lively.
Being able to stay with the child and bring him happiness made us feel warm and fulfilled. We all learned a lot about how to get along with kids and accompany them patiently. We made full use of our time and enjoyed every minute of the activity. In the end, this was a very meaningful and unforgettable volunteer experience for all of us.
