On March 21st, members of the Syosset AYLUS joined the Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI) to assist with their support for local environmental initiatives. Most members spent the day outside, assisting with moving plants. We moved plants out of their winter locations, and put them up on the racks. This allowed for more clear sunlight to be able to reach the plants. Some members also spent time inside, removing seeds from mature plants.
