On December 26, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members organized a supply donation drive to support their local animal shelter using funds raised through their periodic bottle and can recycling program. This ongoing effort not only helps reduce waste but also allows members to transform recyclable materials into meaningful support for the community.
With the funds collected, members purchased essential supplies, including dog and cat food, to help meet the daily needs of the shelter animals. After making the purchases, members promptly delivered the pet food to the shelter. Shelter staff expressed their appreciation for the donations, noting that these supplies directly contribute to the health and well-being of animals awaiting adoption.
