On July 12th, 2025, the AYLUS Columbus Branch hosted an ice cream social event to congratulate and promote volunteerism in the AYLUS organization.
Many members participated in the event, including parents, siblings, and friends. They bonded over ice cream, homemade foods, tasty snacks, and fun activities such as Jazz Minton, Frisbee, volleyball, Spike Ball, and drawing. There was also a panel of recently graduated seniors who gave high school and college advice.
Student leaders announced the Columbus Branch’s history, goals, and past accomplishments and expressed gratitude for our advisors. They also awarded deserving volunteers The AYLUS Volunteer Service Award medals and certificates. Graduating members were given goodie bags in gratitude for their service, hoping for a brighter future ahead.
Everybody enjoyed the beautiful weather, fun activities, and delicious food. We are thankful for the families who brought dishes and snacks to share at the party.
