On June 23, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members volunteered at local senior centers.
At Torrey Pines Senior Living: The volunteers led the residents through a series of exercises with pool noodles. They did various stretches and breathing exercises together, before delving into hydration. The volunteers mixed thickened orange juice and helped some of the residents drink, passing out cups and collecting them after the residents finished. Afterwards, the daily chronicle was passed out, and the volunteers read with the residents and enjoyed some fun facts about flamingos and the Statue of Liberty. The residents were then taken to the dining room for lunch.

On June 23rd, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members continue playing piano at Atria Living center.
Some seniors were waiting at library before members arrival, members played some old and romantic pieces, seniors will sing along with familiar songs from their youth, it’s always a highlight of members’ day to see the warm smiles on seniors’ faces!
