On Saturday, September 19th, AYLUS Syosset returned to the CCE Farmers’ Market at Eisenhower Park. Our volunteers had a wonderful time helping out and supporting the community.
As usual, our earliest volunteers arrived early to help set up the various booths and activity stations. Our activities station featured jump roping, hula hooping, coloring sheets, and soccer, giving children and families an opportunity to have fun and stay active.
In addition to running the activity station, our volunteers helped create signs to guide visitors, assisted with counting attendees, and helped customers carry their bags. They also distributed flyers and encouraged visitors to join the market’s email list so they could stay informed about upcoming events.
Our volunteers also handed out flyers promoting the upcoming indoor winter market, which is an exciting project that has generated a great deal of interest and anticipation.
It was another successful and enjoyable volunteer day for AYLUS Syosset, and we were happy to contribute our time and energy to support the local community.
