AYLUS Garden City volunteers participated in the Garden City High School Homecoming Car Decoration activity as part of the school’s Homecoming celebration on 9/19/2026.
The 9th and 10th grade students worked together to design artwork for their grade’s parade car based on the assigned Homecoming theme. Students developed their own designs and then collaborated with other volunteers to bring their ideas to the car.
During the activity, students attached their artwork and decorations to the parade car and worked together to complete the design. Through this experience, students had an opportunity to apply their creativity and design and coloring skills while practicing teamwork, communication, and leadership.
The activity allowed students to contribute their ideas to a community event while working together toward a shared goal.
