On Tuesday, September 1st, the Great Neck AYLUS Branch had a productive evening at the Great Neck Station Library. Due to the gloomy weather and it being the last week of summer, there were fewer students today. Nonetheless, the tutors and the few tutees had an excellent session. Ivy worked with a student on writing, practicing tracing letters, as well as math, covering counting and time. Olivia worked with a student on life science. Junlin worked with a student on AMC problems to practice for the upcoming competition. Summer and Brian worked together on creating and designing tutoring posters. The session today consisted of a mix of academic subjects and prep work, with all students finishing their work successfully. The next session will be on the following Thursday, September 3rd.
