On June 13, 2026, Aylus volunteers assisted with the book sale at the West Pearland Library. Volunteers served in a variety of roles, including cashiers, book sellers, and greeters. Others helped sort, organize, and arrange books and shelves, ensuring that the event ran smoothly and efficiently while creating a welcoming environment for community members browsing for books.
In preparation for the sale, two volunteers also assisted with setup activities on the late afternoon of June 12. They helped move books from storage closets to display tables in the library’s main hallway, helping staff prepare for the event.
Through their time and effort, our volunteers once again demonstrated their commitment to community service and their support for literacy and learning in the local community.
The library thanked all of our volunteers for their dedication and valuable contributions to this community event.
