On Sunday, June 13, 2026, our volunteers hosted the 37th session of My PlayClub at Ed Thompson Inclusive Park.
The volunteers arrived prepared to host a variety of engaging activity stations designed to encourage creativity, interaction, and enjoyment for participants of all abilities. Throughout the event, children had the opportunity to rotate through several exciting stations, including games, face painting, arts and crafts, and custom balloon art creations.
The games station provided opportunities for children to play, socialize, and build confidence in a supportive environment. At the face-painting station, volunteers transformed smiling faces into colorful works of art, while the crafts station encouraged participants to express their creativity through hands-on projects. One of the most popular attractions of the day was the custom balloon art station, where volunteers crafted unique balloon creations including animal, sword, and flower wristbands.
Our volunteers also helped with distributing flyers that gathers supports for fundraising a new playground in the Independence Park. Towards the end of the event, families expressed how incredibly thankful they were for an event like My PlayClub.
