AYLUS Basking Ridge held Tech Support program at Ridge Oak Senior Center on 4/27/26

Today at Ridge Oak, there were several questions such as how to find and buy a book on amazon, crop and edit a video to fit a specific screen size, and adding text to caption a video. There was also a senior who had issues with an app that wasn’t deleting, and showing a lot of spam messages. This was solved by force stopping the app, then deleting it. 

At today’s tech session, both seniors and volunteers felt more connected to each other, and understood what it meant to be a community. Other than just helping with technology, volunteers also bonded with seniors over common interests and introduced the AYLUS organization to them. After the technology helped, many of the seniors left with smiles and thanks towards the volunteers.
