On March 23, 2024, AYLUS Frisco and Plano Branch attended the McKinney Annual Asian Festival. Our dragon dancing group has 5 people. We did the best we could by practicing the dance right before our turn started. It went very smoothly, even though we didn’t have enough room since the stage’s roof was low and there wasn’t enough space (and people) to have 2 dragons dancing. Despite these obstacles, we were able to finish our performance wonderfully and we got a lot of applause from the audience. After our show, we paraded the dragon around the fair, with many people pulling out their phones and recording us with the dragon. We brought a lot of smiles and excitement from the kids, most of all. Some of us were also using this moment to advertise our face painting section of our stand, which I think is very smart and bold of them to do. Overall, I’d say our group did a fantastic job, and I would like to thank them for all their hard work.
