AYLUS Greater Triangle Volunteers 3/10/2024 spring forest cleaning
Sunday, on 3/10, from 10 am to 12:30 pm, volunteers from our branch conducted spring forest cleaning near The Booker Creek Trail, close to Daley Road. This time of the year marks the season when invasive species and weeds start to grow, and to maintain the forest’s health, volunteers cleaned the forest along a trail.
The activity not only educated students about identifying invasive plant species but also showcased our branch’s work to passersby. It was a highly beneficial event.
