On May 19, 2023, AYLUS Fort Bend branch volunteers Ethan Li and David Chen participated in a conservation event at Memorial Park in Sugar Land, Texas. Along with other participating volunteer groups, Fort Bend branch volunteers spent over an hour planting several varieties of Milkweed in the butterfly garden to serve as habitat for local insect and butterfly varieties.

The event took place for one hour from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
