RC Branch monthly TAG meeting on 04/05/2023

On April 5th, 2023, the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch sent a delegation of five members to attend the monthly Teen Advisory Group meeting at the Paul A. Biane library. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss upcoming library events and how AYLUS can contribute to the library and the community.

During the meeting, the group was introduced to upcoming library events and discussed ways to improve the library experience. One of the suggestions made by AYLUS members was the creation of a wall where library visitors could give book recommendations. This would help the library better meet the needs of its patrons and enhance the overall experience.

The meeting also discussed the L.E.A.D program, which is a leadership role within the Teen Advisory Group. Members of the L.E.A.D program must attend adult meetings and lead group meetings in the library. This opportunity provides AYLUS members with a chance to develop leadership skills and make a positive impact in their community.

The AYLUS delegation greatly appreciated the opportunity to attend the TAG meeting and learn about the various ways they can contribute to the library and the community. They expressed their interest in attending more meetings and becoming TAG LEAD members to further develop their leadership skills and make a meaningful impact.

Overall, the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch’s attendance at the TAG meeting demonstrates their commitment to community service and their eagerness to contribute to the library and the community.

The volunteer time for this event was one hour, and the names of the participating members are:Ryan Kan; Tommy Tang; Morgan Li; Molin Wang; Yuxuan Liu
