Greater Princeton AYLUS Provides Bilingual Assistance (3rd) to Children visiting a Doctor’s Office Since August 2022

Since August, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) provided bilingual assistance to children visiting Dr. Patricia Xiaoping Gao, MD, Pediatrics (98 James St # 100, Edison, NJ 08820, Tel: 732-744-0077).

Dr. Gao graduated from the Peking University Health Science Center in 1986. She works in Edison, NJ and specializes in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics and Pediatrics. Dr. Gao is affiliated with John F Kennedy Medical Center.

CONDITIONS TREATED

Acute Conjunctivitis, Acute Pharyngitis, Acute Sinusitis, Eczema, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Bacterial Pneumonia

Congenital Anomalies of the Heart, Inguinal Hernia, Burns, Urinary Incontinence, Lyme Disease, Cataract, Dehydration

Iron Deficiency Anemia, Bronchial Asthma, Plantar Warts, Sickle-Cell Disease

GPA members (8/6, 4 hrs; 8/13, 4 hrs; 8/20, 4 hrs; 8/27, 4 hrs; 9/4, 4 hrs) Andrew Yao and Kate Li volunteered to serve in the administration office as bilingual assistants and helped children and their families to receive better healthcare service.
