Greater Princeton AYLUS Hosts Data Science Seminars (3rd) in January 2022

In January, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) announced the third lecture of our Data Science Lecture Series, taking place on Monday, January 10th from 4:00-5:00 pm ET over Zoom.

We have the pleasure of inviting Dr. Gao Nan, a professor of cell biology at Rutgers University. He will be talking about data science in cell biology, as well as single cell RNA sequencing and its applications, in his lecture “Single Cell RNA Sequencing and an Example of its Application” and will be answering any questions in a Q & A session.

Nan Gao, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Cell Biology at Rutgers University. He studies how the human gut microbiome communicates with our body, and how such communications influence our health and disease. He will be discussing the application of data science in cell biology through the topic of single cell RNA sequencing and its applications in his research.
