Greater Princeton AYLUS Completes Food Drive with Mercer Street Friends Food Bank (6th) on July 15th, 2021

Between June and July, the Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) hosted a food drive for the Mercer Street Friends Food Bank (824-828 Silvia Street, Ewing, NJ 08628).

GPA collected thousands of the following non perishable nutritious foods, such as tuna, chicken, salmon, fruits and vegetables, pasta and rice, soups, non-sugary cereal, and personal care items as well. Founder and President Cassie Tammy Wang started, organized, and donated all food items to Mercer Street Friends Food Bank on July 15th (2 hrs), with the help from GPA members Cosner Yang (3 hrs) and Cynthia Jinghui Huang (3 hrs).

We respond to the needs of the community to build alliances that will have the most meaningful impact in addressing issues of poverty. We provide a range of integrated services that build community, nurture self-worth and independence, and offer resources for children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and its lasting effects.
