Greater Princeton AYLUS Continues Math Tutoring for Kids (59th) in March 2021

In March 2021, student members of the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) teamed up and continued teaching kids in the subjects of math.

GPA members Karen Yang (3/14, 2 hrs), Kevin Song (3/14, 2 hrs), Kathy Yang (3/14, 2 hrs): This week we continued our Algebra content! First, we answered a question from a student and gave the kids a check in question. Next, we started our lesson with Pi Day themed math equations and started a Pi Day lesson, including how Pi is calculated and why Pi is a specific value. Next, we played a Gimkit game. Finally, we introduced homework and we’ll be having class next Sunday!

GPA member Annie Miao (3/14, 2 hrs): This time, Annie reviewed all the different forms of lines with her tutee and their rules and how to graph them. They also went on to learn how to change equations into the different forms.

GPA member Annabelle Huang (3/14, 2 hrs): This week, Annabelle continued tutoring her student math for PSAT.
