East Cobb Branch Holds Clothes Drive During 2020 Christmas Holiday

Over Holiday Break on December 30th, 2020, three members of AYLUS began sorting and donating clothes to help people that are in need of clothes in the forthcoming winter.

The member sorted no longer needed coats and clothes in her home. The articles of clothing were sorted on multiple factors such as cloth thickness and whether it suited girls or boys. Afterwards, she put all the separate piles into separate bags and delivered them to Goodwill.

This experience helped the member understand that giving away to others is extremely important, especially when there is an excess amount that could be used with more value and care by others. The experience also helped the member understand that by helping others, the donator becomes happier to know that he or she made a difference, even if it may be a small one.
