Greater Princeton AYLUS Concludes Math Tutoring (48th) for 2020

In December 2020, student members of the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) teamed up and continued teaching kids in the subjects of math.

GPA members Karen Yang (12/20, 2 hrs), Kevin Song (12/20, 2 hrs), Kathy Yang (12/20, 2 hrs): This week we continued our Algebra content! First, we gave the kids a check in question. After, we gave them their Unit 1 test part 1 on the content we have covered over the recent weeks. We then played some fun games as a review (with “Blooket” again) and to give the kids some time to relax. Then, we assigned homework for the next class, which was to finish the content. We’ll be having a class on January 10th because of winter break!

GPA member Annie Miao (12/20, 2 hrs; 12/27, 2 hrs): Annie tutored her 5th-grade student about linear graphs, reviewing the terms they went over last week and learning about slope-intercept form. Then, Annie had a review of graphing coordinates with her 5th-grade student and then continued to work on slope-intercept form and graphing lines from an equation.

GPA member Annabelle Huang (12/20, 2 hrs): Annabelle continued teaching her students in Edison on PSAT for math.
