East Cobb Branch Cut Films for Face Shield at Marietta Maker Station VI

On October 25th, 2020, the East Cobb Branch went to laser cut plastic for use in faceshields from 1 pm to 4 pm.

All the films we had previously made had been used up, and we still were printing and bringing in new frames. Therefore, today we once again cut more films. Unfortunately, we had less time today to cut films but experience from before allowed us to cut films at a rapid rate. In the end, after 1 hour preparation, we managed to cut 100 films in around 2 hours along with preparing material for 50 more the next time we need to cut films. This prepared material will allow us to begin cutting with the laser cutter immediately instead of spending time cutting sheets from the plastic roll.
