On the dates 9/19,9/12,9/5, AYLUS Manhasset members taught Chinese students Accent Modification on Voov, a platform similar to Zoom.
At 8 PM on Saturdays, an AYLUS Manhasset member(or members) would open up Voov and the student would be admitted into the meeting. After reviewing last week’s homework, we gave the student read-along material to follow along with online.
Based on the proficiency level of each student, the lessons were different and also depended on what the students were learning that set day. If they had a hard time grasping a concept, then the AYLUS member hosting the meeting would go over the material more in-depth.
Finally, the AYLUS member would assign homework to the student. The lessons took one hour each.
