Greater Princeton AYLUS Works as Counselors for Children Summer Camp (3rd) on August 20-21, 2020

The “Community Service Team” of the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS continued to work as counselors for a Children’s Summer Camp on Thursday and Friday. This was a great opportunity for GPA volunteers to work with younger kids and teach them life skills, art and social lessons.

On August 20th, the GPA volunteers played Guess It, where kids guessed an object based on an image, sound, or definition. On the 21st, they made lions out of various craft materials. Later, they had a blast reviewing the camp material with a Kahoot. The campers were all very engaged and enjoyed the activities very much.

The camp finished with outstanding success. It was the perfect way to help the community during the pandemic.

Participants (8/20, 2.5 hr; 8/21, 2.5 hrs for all): Amber Yu, Xiangcheng Ying
