On April 23 and 25, 2020, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) continued the 2020 ToastMaster season for the local students in New Jersey.
There were two meetings this week. On Thursday, 4/23, GPA members Steven Chi and Andy Chi gave control to the members that day and everyone practiced impromptu speaking for an hour. Andy and Steven commented and made sure they weren’t fooling around. On Saturday, 4/25, they went through the normal schedule, which included the topics of the effects of the coronavirus and what they know about viruses and cures. They also did some table topics. GPA members helped test the speeches and moderate the meeting. They will continue to improve their speaking skills next week.
