On January 12, 2020, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) Humanitarian Care Team went to New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home to conduct volunteering project between 11:30 pm and 3:30 pm.
GPA members walked around the residents’ rooms and TV rooms, expressed new years’ wishes to the seniors, socialized with old friends, helped to organize the music performance “Name That Tune w/ Prizes”. They transported the seniors to the town square, joining the music party. The seniors had a great time with volunteers’ care. The volunteers were proud of servicing the people with love, care and communication.
