Dec. 23, 2019 East Cobb Young Musicians 2019-2020 Holiday Performance III

On December 23, 2019, 21 members of East Cobb Young Musicians performed at the
Alto, Arbor Ter, and Solana Senior Centers for 3.5 hours. Members
performed a wide variety of pieces ranging from classical music to
famous holiday tunes. Some members also performed pieces as duets and
quartets, while others chose to play a solo. When we arrived at Arbor Ter Senior Center, the seniors welcomed the
members with excited faces. While the members performed, the seniors
listened to the music with cheerful smiles and clapped along with the
music.

While all the performances were excellent, the group’s singing was by
far the highlight of the performances. Leading the entire group,
Susana acted as conductor, while Jack played the piano. The seniors
soon began to sing along to the holiday songs.

The members were delighted to be able to perform for such an amazing
audience. They were happy to be able to share their love of music with
the seniors. Each of the performers worked diligently to polish their
songs for the seniors, and the result was well worth the work.
