Greater Princeton AYLUS Promotes Cultural Exchange with Newspapers (37th) on December 4, 2019

On December 4, 2019, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) promotes Cultural Exchange with newspapers. GPA members authored articles, while editors made layouts and art illustrations for newspapers. 

The 37th Issue of Junior Reporter Times offers 9 pages of interesting articles on a variety of topics written by over 20 Junior Reporters. Acting as the New Jersey’s District Editor, Elizabeth Yunjue Li spent 2 hours to collect and edit articles for the current issue. In addition, Elizabeth spent 3 hours and authored an article on page A1 about a sport game hosted by HuaXia Chinese School in New Jersey recently. Alice Yi spent 3 hours to author an article on page A4 to share her view of London.

Art Editors Jessamine Qu spent 4 hours to create attractive layouts of pages A1 & A2, Meryl Li spent 2 hours on page A3, Catherine Feng spent 4 hours on page A4 & A7, and Caroline Shen spent 2 hours on page A6.

An article on a newspaper Chinese News Weekly announced the upcoming fundraising concert in Princeton on December 14, 2019. GPA has been raising thousands of dollars to support Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad for its Cadet Program to train more volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians at ages 16-17.
