Greater Princeton AYLUS Supported Ms. Su, A Well Respected and Caring Teacher, on July 4, 2019 by Planning Tailored Volunteer Teaching Events

Reported by Cassie Tammy Wang

While the Benefit “Music From The Heart, You Could Save A Life” Performance on June 29, 2019 was a big success, Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) wanted to further help Ms. Su, a well respected and caring teacher in the Princeton area, so she can resume her 20+ years of Mandarin teaching career, either in person or through Zoom classroom, as soon as possible.

On July 4, 2019, Independence Day, GPA President, Cassie Tammy Wang, spent 3 hours to help create flyers for Ms. Su, then had them posted in the library and shared on the internet, to let more people know about this opportunity to learn Mandarin. Students of all age groups, including adults, are welcome to sign up to learn Mandarin with Ms. Su, who has over twenty years of experience teaching in the Princeton area.

Ms. Su spent the past 10+ years at Huaxia Chinese School in Plainsboro, New Jersey. She grew up in one of China’s most breathtaking places, Yunnan Province. She loves to sing and dance and always has a positive attitude. Learning Mandarin with her would be a lot of fun!

With the option of Zoom video chatting, people eager to learn how to speak, listen and write Chinese now has the chance to do so no matter how far they are. Her lessons will be tuition free, but donations are welcome. These lessons can be in person or through video chatting in Zoom. Whether needed for work, looking to travel to China, or just interested in this fascinating language, please come join us!
