Reported by Cassie Tammy Wang

Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) Junior Reporters and Art Editors continued the “Culture Promotion” project by contributing articles, making layouts, and creating art illustrations to newspapers.

On June 19, 2019, GPA Art Editor Celina Xiong spent 2 hours to make the layout of page A4 of “Junior Reporter Times”. On page A5, GPA Junior Reporter Angelina Yingying Liu spent 3 hours to author an article recalling an impressive live concert of Korean Bulletproof Youth League (BTS) recently presented in New Jersey.

GPA President, Cassie Tammy Wang shared her wonderful “Culture Promotion” related community service stories on page A7, starting as a Junior Reporter, then Art Editor, and now Art Editor-In-Chief for the newspaper “Junior Reporter Times”. Cassie wanted to tell readers that learning traditional culture and Chinese might not be that difficult as long as they keep using it. In her case, she has been writing articles in Chinese on a variety of topics since 2012, making layouts, recruiting and training Art Editors for the newspaper Junior Reporter Times since 2017.

As the Art Editor-In-Chief, Cassie Tammy Wang spent 4 hours to have all 8 pages reviewed and revised, ensuring they were attractive to the readers and typo free.

GPA member Angela Li spent 2 hours on May 12, 2019, and another 2 hours on June 2, to make two pages of layout for newspaper “PCS Voices” of Plainsboro community.
