Reported by Larry Liu

On June 16th, 2019, Father’s Day, Greater Princeton, NJ Branch of AYLUS (GPA) performed at John P. Fricano Towers, an affordable senior housing that provides shelter, programs, activities, and food to retired seniors. With the help of Social Service Coordinator, Vanessa Forst, the GPA members were able to pull on a great show!

Following a Book Drive event (9 am to 10 am) for Seniors Library, the 23 GPA members, most of them are students from Mandarin Academy of Metuchen (MAM), spent 2 additional hours (10 am to 12 pm) at John P. Fricano Towers, playing music, dancing, singing, poetry and poetry reciting to celebrate Father’s Day with the seniors! The GPA members were glad that their “Music From The Heart” performance brought local community a lot of joy. Seniors at the John P. Fricano Towers had a great time watching the performance and loved the little kids!
